For years I have toiled with the idea of having a blog.
What in the world would I say? How would I say it? And, more importantly, who in the world would even give a sh*t?
But as it turns out... I have come to realize (with the help of my incredible friends and family) that I was blessed with a sharp moral code. And that what I have created for myself is, in fact, pretty cool. And, low and behold, people do actually care what other people have going on in their lives -- especially if they have positively impacted the respective audience by way of direct contact, inspiration, mentorship, good vibes, etc.
Turns out, the things I have to say.
Turns out, I do have a distinct voice.
Turns out, it actually takes a lot of gumption to say something (i.e. explaining why it took literal YEARS to actually sit down and write this first post. But alas -- a quarter of a million dollars later invested in education -- it turns out I can, in fact, weave together cohesive sentences to put my thoughts down. (Although I must ask forgiveness for the future typos and grammatical errors I may make in the future as, I am sure one will slip through the cracks... And *disclaimer*: I still don't really know what the eff I'm doing lol.) But I digress.
And the result, my friends, is this. This is my blog. My digital diary of the thoughts that occupy space in my brain, the people and moments that deserve (in my humble opinion) to be shared and celebrated, and a space to share the full breadth of what I actually do on a daily basis.
This is the space in which I will showcase and celebrate the ever-evolving project of working on myself, developing a relationship with myself, and evolving into the person I am supposed to become.
In a nutshell -- This is my diary, resume, to-do list, iCal, and all the apps consolidated into one place.
This is THE MARRIN PROJECT.
